The Network
Initiatives
Next
Generation Wireless Network is an EPSRC funded
project founded in 2004 to establish and support an inclusive
multi-disciplinary community which will collaborate on next
generation wireless communication research and foster interaction
and cooperation with similar communities in Europe, Asia,
and the USA.
NGWNet aims to provide a forum for the
exchange of ideas, best practice techniques and software
related to Wireless Communications.
NGWNet
will also publish a research manifesto specifying the research
challenges which the community should address over the next
15 years. The network organises workshops, seminars, and summer/winter
schools which UK research students and associates can easily
attend as a means of training young researchers and future
leaders of the research community.
